Vehicle Description
This 2020 BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport is the exact kind of flagship SUV we get fired up about at Supreme Motors because it has the look, the options, the history, and the presence that separate it from the average X7 instantly. Finished in the coveted black on black color combination with Black Sapphire Metallic exterior paint, this is not flat jet black, it has that deep pearl metallic that glistens in the sun and gives the whole SUV a richer, more expensive finish. It is a two-owner West Coast California vehicle with no accidents on the Carfax and it presents in phenomenal condition inside and out. This one is stacked with the M Sport package, 22-inch Style 755M bi-color M wheels with black accents, black Vernasca leather, fine line black wood trim, Parking Assistance package, Cold Weather package, Premium package, upgraded M Sport brakes, extended Shadowline trim, color-changing ambient lighting, dual panoramic sunroof, power fold-flat third row, two factory key fobs, and all the must-have luxury features. The M Sport package, the wheels, the Shadowline trim, and the black on black spec all come together perfectly. This is not just a big luxury SUV, this is a proper BMW flagship with serious presence.
The M Sport package is everything on an X7 because it completely transforms the vehicle from a luxury family SUV into something that looks and feels far more aggressive, athletic, and expensive. You get the upgraded M Sport front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, sportier grille treatment, better suspension feel, sharper steering, better steering components, upgraded M steering wheel, upgraded seats, and the full M Sport visual treatment throughout the vehicle. The high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim and high-gloss Shadowline roof rails tie directly into the black on black look and remove the softer chrome appearance found on standard models. The anthracite Alcantara headliner is another major piece because it gives the cabin a dark, rich, high-end atmosphere that feels far more special than a standard headliner. The M Sport steering wheel is one of the best steering wheels in the game, thick, perfectly shaped, and exactly what you want your hands on every time you drive. Non M Sport X7s are nice, but they do not have the same attitude, stance, or long-term desirability. This package is what makes the whole vehicle.
The 22-inch Style 755M bi-color M wheels with black accents are our favorite wheel package by far on these X7s. They were a $1,300 factory option and they completely change the stance of the vehicle. The black accents in the wheels tie directly into the Shadowline grille, window trim, roof rails, and overall blacked-out exterior theme. On a vehicle this large, the right wheels matter massively because smaller wheels can make the X7 look underbuilt, while these 22s give it the commanding, planted look it deserves. They fill the wheel wells perfectly and make the entire SUV look more expensive from every angle. Paired with the upgraded M Sport performance brake package, a $650 option, the whole setup looks and feels like the right factory build. This is exactly how an X7 should sit.
Inside, the black Vernasca leather upholstery was a $1,450 option and gives the cabin the premium feel you expect from a BMW flagship. The fine line black wood trim is a killer choice because it brings in a classy, rich interior finish without looking like the old brown wood trim you see in some luxury SUVs. It keeps the cabin modern, dark, and upscale while matching the overall black on black theme. The color-changing ambient lighting adds a whole different personality at night, giving the cabin that high-end lounge feel that passengers notice immediately. The dual panoramic sunroof opens up the entire interior and makes the X7 feel massive, airy, and expensive from every seat. The power fold-flat third row gives you real family functionality without sacrificing the luxury feel. This interior is big, rich, comfortable, and properly optioned.
The Premium package was a $2,800 option and brings in some of the best everyday luxury features you can get on this X7. Remote engine start is huge because you can warm the vehicle up on cold mornings or cool it down before getting in during summer. Soft close automatic doors give it that six-figure flagship feel every time you shut the doors. Heads-up display is one of those features that once you have it, you do not want another vehicle without it because your speed, navigation, and key driving info sit right in your line of sight. Gesture control is another BMW feature we love because once you get used to spinning your finger to adjust volume or using simple hand motions, it becomes second nature. The rear electric side window shades are another high-end touch that rear passengers appreciate, especially kids or anyone riding in the back on sunny days. The Harman Kardon surround sound system finishes the package off with clean highs, strong bass, and much better clarity than the base stereo.
The Cold Weather package was a $1,200 factory option and is a big deal on a luxury SUV like this. You get five-zone automatic climate control, heated front and rear seats, heated armrests, and a heated steering wheel. Heated armrests sound like a small detail until you experience them on a freezing morning and realize how much they elevate the whole cabin. The heated M Sport steering wheel is especially nice because it already feels incredible in your hands, and when it is warm, you genuinely do not want to let go. Five-zone climate control is also a huge benefit because everyone in the vehicle can be comfortable without fighting over one temperature setting. In a three-row SUV, that matters. This package makes the X7 feel like a true luxury road trip machine.
The Parking Assistance package was an $800 option and makes this big SUV far easier to live with every day. The surround view camera with 3D view gives you a full bird’s-eye perspective around the vehicle, which is priceless when parking, backing into tight spaces, or navigating garages. The rear view camera is crisp and easy to use, while Parking Assistance Plus helps take the stress out of maneuvering something this large. You also get automatic parking, backup camera, blind spot monitor, and the confidence that comes from having the right visibility and safety tech. These systems help protect the vehicle, the wheels, the bumpers, and your peace of mind. Once you have a 3D surround camera system on a large luxury SUV, going back to a basic backup camera feels outdated.
When you put everything together, this 2020 BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport is a serious package. Black Sapphire Metallic, black Vernasca leather, M Sport package, 22-inch Style 755M wheels, upgraded M brakes, extended Shadowline trim, anthracite Alcantara headliner, fine line black wood, Premium package, Cold Weather package, Parking Assistance package, dual panoramic sunroof, power third row, two factory key fobs, and no accidents on the Carfax out of California. This is the kind of X7 that feels like it was ordered by somebody who knew exactly what they were doing. It looks right, drives right, and has the presence a flagship BMW SUV should have. At Supreme Motors, this is exactly the kind of properly optioned luxury SUV we want on our lot.
